Ouch! Tough to be on the receiving end of such an attack. That is a very nice little 3 mover though.

Hi,

I was looking for a contact button to mail you a private msg. I didn't find so forced to post in a comment.

My chess teaches (an IM) and I were preparing the Philidor defense as black but with the move order 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 , ....Nbd7 ....e5 and so on. What is your opinion about this move order.

My teacher says is very promising and is actually been playing by a few top GMs looking for interesting games. It looks like current research show active play with e4 attack and queen side expansion.

Also I am thinking in buying the Winning with the Philidor book, althought expensive maybe I could give it a try if this move order is treated. Could you solve this doubt???

Lots thanks,
