Poll: Accept the King's Gambit?

The King's Gambit is one of the oldest, and most analyzed openings in all of chess. Despite the amount of study devoted to it, the questions remains: should it be accepted or declined?

You decide!

at my lowly level (~1600) i want white to prove his attack to me. i will even allow the muzio (1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf 3.Nf3 g5 4.Bc4) b/c i have faith in the (lack of) attacking prowess of my peers ;)

As an initial note, it seems the overwhelming majority accept the opening. I experimented with the Falkbeer Counter-Gambit for a long time (which technically is a "decline" of the King's Gambit) and scored well with it, but now I opt for accepting it.

i like to play 1...e5 against 1.e4, and i like so much to answer 2.f4 with 2...exf4. my favorite variation is with 3... Be7 and 3...g5 after 3.Nf3.
i think the king gambit acceptation will give better chance for black, IF the black player could survive the storm of attack withoout giving back materials...
